John Corrie was under orders from the 2nd Military District (2nd M.D.) and went before a medical board hearing on 18th December 1915. Notes throughout his service record file pronounced in unfit for active service but no medical board review records are available.
Request for medical papers
In fact, a letter was sent from the New South Wales 2nd M.D. to the Queensland 1st M.D. on 16th February 1916, requesting they send papers of a Medical Board Proceeding that were sent to the 1nd M.D. by mistake. The outcome of the request is unknown.
